Hi Everyone,
We are all ready to start this New Year with more activities!!!
The big news is that Disability Talk will attend the Australian Open this year.
We are looking forward to some fun and nice food together. We know we can watch it on TV, but being there with friends, face-to-face with players, is much more exciting than being at home. So, join us. (If you are interested please let us know by Friday at 3pm, we need to get tickets in advance).
If Tennis is not your piece of cake, please choose any other activity for this term.
The walk at the Moonee Ponds is free and it includes a drink.
For all the other activities, the price varies. Please get in touch with us to get more information.
Please be advised of the following:
· We work with participants that are either ndis, plan or self-managed
· Self-Managed participants will now be required to pay for services prior to the group activity to confirm attendance
· Our groups are targeted at NDIS participants who have lower to medium support needs. Participants that have CB Relationships in their plan would be classified as Higher Support Needs
· Participants in our groups are of all ages. Participants have the option of 1:1 support if preferred. (this incurs an extra fee based on a 1:1 rate)
· Participants that are requiring transport support to the activity will be charged at a ratio of 1 on 1 with the reimbursement of Sheebah expenses to be deducted from the Core supports. (For our female participants, we will provide Sheebah instead of Uber since it is a service with only female drivers for female clients)
If you have any questions about this, please send us an email or give us a call.
Please let us know by Friday, 12.01.2024, at 3 pm if any of your participants are interested in the Australian Open since places are limited.
We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at the Australian Open.
